completely and utterly blessed!

Made it home in one piece. Not everything went as planned, had to pay fees up the butt, my tempers and character were beyond tested, but God is SO GOOD. My nerves about luggage, money, time, rest, food were all eased by giving all of my worries to Him. And despite all of this, I can say that I have met the most amazing and gracious people abroad, and have been shown the complete blessing of family, true friends, helpful strangers, and an amazing boyfriend.

“Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

That verse has basically gotten me through every twist and turn, moments of panic, or just plain worry. My study abroad experience came with a lot of tests… and I have to say that I wouldn’t have been able to stand through any of them if it wasn’t for God’s grace, and prayer. It is SO powerful.

The biggest and most important lesson I learned in Italy, and a phrase told to me by one of my most recent BEST and amazing friends,

“Avere Fiducia.” “Have Trust.”

Let go, and let God. If there is nothing more that you can do, or if something is out of your control, then why stress, why worry, why dig a deeper hole? I will never, ever forget this!

I don’t think it’s a question of who loves the other person more or less.

We all love differently.

Some, more fearlessly than others. The latter just needs some inspiration. And it will come. Love is patient.

My dilemma

is NOT questioning whether I’m capable of chasing my dreams, whether or not I will do so, or even that I have dreams in the first place…

it’s finding out exactly which ones I want to chase.

Problems of a ‘jack of all trades, but a master of none.’

Giving this one wholeheartedly to God.

Note to self:

Associate negativity with weakness,
And being positive will come naturally.
